Provides students with practice in adding two digit numbers using the "split" strategy.  To add two 2 digit numbers, students split each number into tens and ones.  They then add the tens, add the ones, and add the result.  e.g.  26 + 43 = 20 + 40 + 6 + 3 = 60 + 9 = 69.  Three options are available - no regrouping, regrouping, and mixed problems.

Provides students with practice in adding two digit numbers using the "jumps" strategy.  Starting with the larger of two 2 digit numbers, students count on in tens first, then in ones, to find the solution.

Provides students with practice in adding two digit numbers using the "compensation" strategy.  To add two 2 digit numbers where the second number is just less than a multiple of 10, students round up the second number, add it, then compensation by subtracting the difference due to rounding.  e.g.  26 + 19 = 26 + 20 - 1 = 46 - 1 = 45.

Provides students with practice in adding a single digit number to a 2 digit number using the "making tens" strategy.  Students work out how much is required to make the ten, and borrow this from the single digit number being added.  e.g.  28 + 9 = 28 + 2 + 7 = 30 + 7 = 37.

Provides students with practice in subtracting two digit numbers using the "jumps" strategy.  Starting with the larger of two 2 digit numbers, students count back in tens first, then in ones, to find the solution.
